LOGO DESIGN
-----------------------------------------------
logo (noun),
a symbol or other small design adopted by an organisation
to identify its products, uniform, vehicles, etc.
Origin: 1930s abbreviation of 'logogram' or 'logotype'.
-----------------------------------------------
In today's brand-driven world, logos are critical to the
identity of any company or organisation. Without one, a
company is unlikely to stand apart from its competitors.
A well designed logo should be adaptable enough to be used
in various situations such as letterheads, websites, shop
signs and company merchandise. It should also be clear
enough to be recognisable at small sizes and in black and
white - for example in a fax or a newsprint advert.
A good logo can instill a feeling of quality,
professionalism and confidence in your product or service.
